I am a Registered Professional Counsellor candidate (RPC-c) with a Master's Degree in Education, along with a B.A., B.Ed., and a Diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling. Additionally, I hold certifications in ASIST, De-escalating Potentially Violent Situations and Critical Incident Group De-briefing. I will endeavor to create a safe, secure, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where individuals, couples, and families can be open to reveal their vulnerabilities and share their experiences. I look forward to using the modalities of CBT, DBT, EFT, SFBT, along with spiritual and mindfulness modalities. My extensive teaching background in both the elementary and high school systems gives me a unique skill set in helping teenagers and young adults who experience a multitude of mental health challenges. I welcome teenagers, young adults, adults, families, and elderly clients. Everyone has a story to share, and every story is unique. Who doesn't love listening to a good story? Many of the stories out there are fraught with heartache, hardship, and struggle; yet when you read between the lines, they all reveal the indomitable spirit of the person sharing it. As the privileged listener, I invite you to tell me your story.
